CONFIRMED: FC Cincinnati Confirmed to Scout East Coast Showcase
High profile USL club FC Cincinnati has confirmed that they will be in attendance at SoccerViza’s inaugural East Coast Showcase to scout players for their 2017 season. In FC Cincinnati’s first season, they have been at or near the top of the table all year, while averaging over 17,000 fans per game.

Former US National Team captain John Harkes has steered FC Cincinnati to incredible heights in the club’s first season, breaking league attendance records and playing attractive soccer while earning result after result.

SoccerViza is happy to announce that they have entered into an agreement with FC Cincinnati to help scout and identify players for the club at SoccerViza’s first winter transfer window showcase of the 2016/17 season.

“This is huge news,” SoccerViza CEO Joe Funicello commented.

“FC Cincinnati has been making waves since they entered the league, and they’ve entrusted their time and resources to SoccerViza to identify players for their team for next season. It’s been a top, top organization from the very beginning, and we’re thrilled to welcome them into the SoccerViza Family.”

The East Coast Showcase will bring together the 60 best players chosen from Regional ID Camps in Connecticut, Virginia, and Florida in the month of October. Scouting staff will identify the top players at each ID Camp, and those players will be invited to play the Regional Showcase FOR FEE in Connecticut, held November 21-23, which will be scouted by FC Lahti and FC KTP from Finland, FC Cincinnati from the United States, and one team to be announced in the coming days.

“I think players have a lot to look forward to with this combine,” Player Relations Director Christopher McCollum said.

“You have teams from the top flight and second flight in Finland, and now one of the biggest teams in the USL. There’s a lot of different perspectives and opinions to get from this event which will benefit players as they seek to build their careers. Add in Joe’s recent experience coaching in Iceland, and it’s going to be a very educational experience on top of players being in a position to earn contracts from some very good teams.”

SoccerViza’s East Coast Show will take place November 21-23.
