SoccerViza Partners with NJSA
SoccerViza has partnered with Norwalk Junior Soccer Association to provide coaching and development services to Connecticut youth players.

SoccerViza Founder and CEO Joe Funicello has been named the Co-Director of Coaching for Norwalk Junior Soccer Association, alongside SoccerViza's Director of Youth Operations Chris Laughton.

Together, the pair will steer NJSA youth development in a new direction, keeping talent in the club and competing with regional academies for college and professional attention.

Funicello and Laughton are both products of NJSA themselves, having played and coached in the past, with each claiming State and Regional honors in their careers. The pair's recent collaboration in 2015 with NJSA resulted in multiple state championships across different age groups, and laid the foundation for more involvement and a higher standard of development for the future, which begins now in 2017.

"I'm excited for the future of NJSA," Joe commented.

"I was raised in this club, and am thrilled to have a role in the long term direction of my hometown's soccer community. We look to help player reach the next level of the game in whatever aspect they choose. Wether it be collegiate, professionally, or simply just to have fun, we will help create that gateway."

With nearly 2,000 players in the NJSA program, the goal is to provide a consistent track to college, while also creating an environment of professionalism that will transition beyond college and into the professional game for more advanced players.

In addition to team and technical coaching duties, SoccerViza will also be running off-season camps and college showcases to provide further opportunities for continuing development.
