Olimpia Satu Mare has extended the trials of seven players from the SoccerViza Development Center for an additional 10 days. This decision provides these players with a further opportunity to showcase their abilities and compete for a professional contract with the Romanian club.

Olimpia Satu Mare, a historic Romanian football club, was acquired by SoccerViza in 2023.

As part of its efforts to rebuild the club, SoccerViza has integrated its proven approach to identifying and developing overlooked talent. The club now serves as a platform for aspiring professional players to take the next step in their careers, aligning with SoccerViza’s mission of creating pathways for undiscovered talent.

Meet the Trialists

  • Oludolapo Morakinyo (Nigeria, Winger): A quick and skillful winger with experience in the English and USA college systems. Although he is still early in his professional journey, his potential on the flanks is clear.

  • Jacob Holtz (USA, Defensive Midfielder): A midfielder with strong passing ability and excellent positional awareness. Holtz has already demonstrated his talent in transitioning play during his trial period.

  • Kyle Bennett (USA, Striker): A striker with pace, power, and an eye for goal. Bennett’s experience in the UPSL has helped him develop his game, but he is eager to prove himself at the professional level.

  • Caleb Trowbridge (Australia, Central Midfielder): A versatile midfielder and former captain of the Newcastle Jets U18 and U23 sides. Trowbridge is known for his stamina and ability to maintain possession under pressure.

  • Jaylen Drummond (Canada, Winger): A winger with strength and finishing ability. Drummond has already impressed with his attacking instincts in training and pre-season games.

  • Hugo Kemppainen (Finland, Centre-Back): A strong and vocal defender from the Kups youth system. Kemppainen’s physical presence and leadership qualities make him a standout at the back.

  • Eldian Burzic (Bosnia, Left-Back/Centre-Back): A promising young defender with experience in European youth systems, including FC Eindhoven. Burzic brings versatility and tactical awareness to the defensive line.

A Focus on Development

These trialists reflect SoccerViza’s core mission of uncovering and supporting players who may have been overlooked by traditional scouting networks. While the players are still in the early stages of their careers, they now have the opportunity to prove themselves in a professional setting.

“The players have shown promise, and this extension gives them the time to adjust and make their case for a contract,” said SoccerViza Director, Joe Funicello.

This collaboration highlights SoccerViza’s commitment to integrating its scouting and development philosophies into Olimpia Satu Mare, strengthening the club’s foundation while providing opportunities for emerging talent.
